Calaveras County Ratifies State of Emergency After Winter Storm

The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors unanimously ratified a local state of emergency following the severe winter storm that brought heavy snow, downed trees, and widespread power outages to the Arnold, Dorrington, Avery, and West Point areas.

Storm Updates: Arnold Summit Repeater & Road Conditions

Ongoing updates on the Arnold Summit repeater outage, road conditions, and net operations. Hwy 4 has reopened but many roads remain unplowed and trees continue to fall. Members with programmed radios should use simplex channels for check-ins.

Forest Meadows repeater restored

The Forest Meadows repeater serving the Arnold and Murphy's area is back online and operational.

Winter Storm Warning: Heavy Snow Through Friday

A significant winter storm will bring 4 to 8 feet of snow above 5,500 feet through Friday evening. Travel is strongly discouraged and power outages are expected.
